This students exchange programme is basically an academic and cultural exchange programme where students of both the colleges have presented their research papers on various topics of the descipline. Teachers of both the colleges too have shared their thoughts on diferent topics of history.

A career counselling programme is organised by the dept. of History in collaboration with Career Counselling Cell of Suren Das College at the Old Seminar Hall of the college. Resource person, Dr. Binita Devi has enlightened the students with the ideas of different competitive exam options they have. She guided the students with the knowledge of how to prepare for competive exams.She guided them with different career option after finishing their degree. She even put a focus on various new courses that have good career options for the students. The objectives are described by Mrs. Trikha Rani Das while the vote of thanks has been delivered by Mrs. Chayanika Goswami.

Department of History, Suren Das College has organised a webinar on 3rd july 2020 in collaboration with IQAC of the college. A total of 588 numbers of participants have joined the session. Prof. Mrinmoy Kr. Sarmah, Dept of Bussiness Administration, Director TLC, Coordinator,MTTM, Tezpur University has graced the occasion as resource person.Dr. Hiranya Kr. Sarma, Principal, Suren Das College has inaugurated the session with his valuable speech. Mr Jayanta Malla Baruah, Honourable Chairman, ATDC, Govt. of Assam has delivered the keynote address while Dr. Amulya Kalita, Assistant Professor, Suren Das College had offered the vote of thanks.

Resource persons Dr. Binita Das & Mrs. Trikha Rani Das have elaborately described about mental and phyisical harassment and they appealed the students to speak against those harassment. Both of them have showed the probable legal assistance one can take from judiciary.
